Alabama woman arrested for fighting mother in middle of road

BREWTON, Ala. (WEAR) - A Brewton woman was arrested on domestic violence charges after authorities say she fought her mother in the middle of a roadway intersection.

According to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a call that two women were fighting in the middle of Appleton and Lowery Landing roads.

Authorites say they found an elderly woman who had been assaulted by her daughter, Jina E. Barlow.

Barlow was arrested for domestic violence assault, domestic violence reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child. Barlow also has other outstanding warrants.

Authorities say there was a 3-year-old child in the back seat of a car nearby, which led to the child endangerment charge.
