MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WZTV) - A Mt. Juliet mother made an adaptive sled on Tuesday to take her 4-year-old daughter out to play in the snow.

Heather Brown said her daughter Natalie has cerebral palsy and uses an adaptive chair in their house. As they woke up to a blanket of snow on Tuesday morning, Brown got creative.

She said she put Natalie's chair on a storage container lid to make an adaptive sled. Based on the video Brown shared, Natalie had a blast in her adaptive sled.

"Natalie's just a sweet girl," Brown said. "Even with her disabilities, she's a typical 4-year-old that wants to have fun."

Brown said this is the first time they've used the chair to make a sled, and she's happy to share Natalie's snow day smiles.
