WATCH | Fiery dump truck crash in Texas caught on video

AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) - A dump truck burst into flames during a crash in Grand Prairie, Texas, and it was all caught on video.

CBSDFW reports the crash happened just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Cameras for the North Texas Tollway Authority captured the video on Highway 360.

According to officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver of a Chrysler PT Cruiser stopped in the middle of the newly opened tollway lanes and began backing up. An approaching dump truck swerved to miss the PT Cruiser and slammed into the center barrier, according to CBSDFW.

The driver of the PT Cruiser was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The dump truck driver wasn't hurt.
