CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A few sea turtles are getting a new lease on life.
On Tuesday, the South Carolina Aquarium released four rehabilitated juvenile sea turtles into the wild of Cape Romaine National Refuge.
One Kemp’s ridley sea turtle named Gorgonzola and three green sea turtles: Queso, Goat, and Andrey, were all released.
The turtles were released from a boat in the salt marsh, where they would naturally be found around mid-to-late August.
