A 7-year-old Calvert County girl who has gained the nickname “Puck Girl” went viral again this week after giving a very excited reaction as her favorite player scored a goal in the Stanley Cup Final.

Keelan Moxley, of Chesapeake Beach, first gained attention in April when Capitals player Brett Connolly tried repeatedly to throw her a puck, but two boys around her got them instead. Her expressive reactions of disappointment and then excitement when Connolly finally succeeded were watched all over the country.

Since that game, Connolly and Capitals owner Ted Leonsis have showered Keelan and her parents with gifts and free seats to multiple games, including Game 4 of the Stanley Cup this week.

Near the end of the Capitals 6-2 win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights Connolly scored a goal, drawing a scream of excitement from Keelan that was caught by the TV cameras.

She tells ABC7 News it was definitely her favorite moment of the game.

"[When] Brett Connolly scored, that blew my mind,” she said.

Now, Keelan’s favorite player and team are one win away from a Stanley Cup.

"And if they win, it's just going to be awesome,” Keelan said. "If they do it mind blown."
