RUSTBURG, VA., (WSET) -- Glencliff Manor has opened the opportunity for couples who had to cancel their wedding during the coronavirus pandemic to wed at their venue for free.
Couples can come by for an hour with their officiator, future spouse, and a few family members to have their ceremony at no cost.
Glencliff Manor recognizes that spring is a popular time to get married, and since the coronavirus has caused many couples to cancel the wedding they spent months planning and saving for, they wanted to do something special to match the couple's special day.
Larry and Savannah Porter had the opportunity to wed on Saturday, May 2. They say the opportunity was once in a lifetime.
"I've waited on this day for so long and it's finally here, I'm so glad," said Savannah Porter.
80 more couples will be wed at Glencliff Manor this month.
