SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A video showing five Utah school buses with their lights synced up to The Nutcracker's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" hopes to give prospective students a glimpse into what school projects they could be working on when a new career and technical (CT) high school opens in August of 2023.

The video shows an impressive display that perfectly syncs all of the lights on the front of the school buses with the popular Christmas instrumental theme.

The video was posted to YouTube with the caption:

When you combine art with S.T.E.M. you get S.T.E.A.M. and this is the kinds of thing our students can look forward from the the CT High School opening opening August of 2023. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Special thanks to our Transportation Department, Technology Department and Communications Department and the Utah Symphony Orchestra who made this video possible.

The Utah Symphony Orchestra provided the music while James Price helped with lighting engineering, integration and sequencing. Cody Plumhof did the video editing as well as light sequencing. The light sequencing was controlled with a computer.
