TAMPA, Fla. (WEAR) — Officials wrangled an alligator after it made its way to the runway and under an airplane at the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
MacDill Air Force Base posted pictures and video on Monday.
Pictures show the nearly 10-foot-long alligator lounging near the wheels of an airplane.
Video then shows twoFlorida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers wrangling the gator before removing it from the tarmac.
“Our newest toothy Airman has been relocated to a more suitable environment off base,” MacDill Air Force Base said in a release. “They think Elvis pushed this guy away from home.”
The gator has been relocated to the Hillsborough River.
