VIDEO: DoorDash driver arrested, officer delivers customer’s food

BEAUMONT, Texas — A police officer from Beaumont, Texas was captured on a Ring doorbell camera delivering a customer’s food after their DoorDash driver was arrested while driving on his way to them.

The sight of the officer at the door gave the customer and homeowner quite a shock.

Are you really the deliverer?... Or did I do something wrong?

However, the officer explained the situation and that he just wanted to make sure they got their order.

No, the guy that was supposed to be delivering your food, he's got a warrant, so he got pulled over on the way over here.... So, I'm taking him to jail, but I wanted to go ahead and deliver your food.
