LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights gave back to the community on Monday by helping serve free meals.
The Golden Knights helped more than a thousand of Southern Nevada's most vulnerable men, women and children enjoy a feast at Catholic Charities near Owens and Main Street.
Players say while the team recognition has changed a lot, the value in serving the community at events like this, stays the same.
"I took a couple of pics with the one lady,” said Golden Knights center Nick Suzuki. “It's just great to help them out and bring them food -- and they were having a lot of fun with it just like us."
