It has been weeks since the Capitals first hoisted the Stanley Cup but plenty of fans are keeping the party going.

Alex Ovechkin seamlessly transition from team captain to party captain and his epic romp in the days following the series win was every bit as memorable as his MVP playoff performance. One moment in particular that captured fans' attention wasOvechkin's locker room dance ahead of the team's victory parade in teammate Devante Smith-Pelly was kind enough to record the dance and share it with the world.

Given how wellOvechkin moves on the ice, it is only natural that his moves would translate to the dance floor. Recognizing the opportunity, an enterprising Twitter user created the account "@OviDancing," settingOvechkin's viral boogie to a wide range of popular tunes. So far, the most popular video hasOvechkin dancing to Toto's "Africa."

Las Vegas was the location and opponent in Washington's historic win, so of courseOvechkin had to tap his toes to Elvis Presley's "VivaLas Vegas."

DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win" was another obvious choice given its accurate summary of the Capitals' magical postseason.

Luis Fonsi's "Despacito" was a summer hit and very much fits the mood of the "Summer of Ovi."

The account even went old school and broke out the locally well-known Eastern Motors jingle.

Caps fans looking for more Stanley Cup jubilation can find many more clips posted to the Twitter account. And many of the them match up rather well withOvechkin's steps. It looks like hockey historians can add "transcendent trotting" to the long list ofOvechkin's accomplishments.
