TSA finds turtles hidden in woman's bra at Miami airport

MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida woman allegedly attempted to sneak two turtles through Miami International Airport (MIA) by hiding them in her bra.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced this in a Facebook post on July 24, urging travelers to "stop hiding animals in weird places on your body."

According to TSA, one of the turtles did not survive, while the other turtle was handed over to the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife.

TSA is encouraging pet owners to check with their airlines for specific regulations regarding traveling with animals to ensure a safer and smoother journey for everyone involved.
