BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) - Out of jail and arrested for a second time, the "Grinch" struck again Sunday morning, police say. But instead of allegedly opening packages inside the post office, Francis Keller is now accused of using a gun to rob and carjack multiple victims.

Officers with the Boynton Beach Police Department say this all happened at a Sonic Drive-In on Winchester Park Boulevard in Boynton Beach.

According to a police statement, Keller, 56, went to the Sonic and inquired about a job. He then allegedly pulled a gun from his waistband and robbed a 21-year-old employee of cash.

Once he had the money, Keller reportedly ran to a car in the parking lot and pointed the gun at the driver, telling him to get out. The 16-year-old driver and his teenage passengers ducked down in the vehicle and called police.

Authorities say Keller fled the scene but was quickly apprehended. Police found a Hy-Score 800 pellet gun in Keller's possession.Keller is charged with armed robbery and armed carjacking.

Officials say Keller is back in the Palm Beach County Jail, where he is likely to spend Christmas after violating the terms of his bond.
