DALLAS (KABB/WOAI) - Target is apologizing after some people complained that its "Baby Daddy" Father's Day cards were insulting.

The cards first got major attention when Takeisha Saunders posted about the cards on Facebook on May 31.

"You CANNOT be serious Target!!!! Really!!!?!!!!? This was the only Father’s Day card that featured a black couple!!!!!!??????????? #OurVoicesReally #NotMyNarrative #HowAboutHusband #HowAboutLove #HowAboutJustDad," she posted.

The retailer responded, saying it will be pulling the cards from its stores. Target also apologized and said it never meant to offend anyone:

"We were made aware of some concerns about this card last week and are working with our vendor to have it removed from Target stores. We appreciate the feedback and apologize. It’s never our intent to offend any of our guests with the products we sell."
