LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -One group of students at Liberty University's convocation Wednesday morning dressed up as the now-iconic Kenneth Bone.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the Republican vice presidential nominee, was the speaker.

Some say Bone was the real winner of the second presidential debate Sunday night.

Students say the outfits represent the ridiculousness of the debates and the election, and they think the country latched onto Bone for comic relief in the midst of it all.

"As an undecided voter, he just wanted to know each opinion on the subject and his innocence just embodies what 2016 wishes it could be, in the fact that we just don't know what's going on," said Jacob Rutz, a student at Liberty.

Students say they found their outfits at Goodwill, since all of Bone's red sweaters are sold out online.
