Stolen fork lift used in ATM heist

SAN ANTONIO - Some thieves hopped onto a piece of construction equipment and drove it straight across Northwest Military to a Chase Bank location. That's where they grabbed hold of a drive thru ATM and ripped it from the ground.

Police got a call about this robbery just after 3 am Monday morning. Police will be checking bank surveillance video for a description of the robbers and a getaway truck.

The heavy machinery used in this crime was dumped behind a business in a nearby shopping strip. It was still running and beeping when police discovered it.

Police are also checking the surveillance video where the ATM was found.
