CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A yearly tradition at the South Carolina Aquarium took place Friday.
Divers dropped off a spooky treat for some of the sea creatures: carved pumpkins.

It was part of a show put on for all animal lovers.
But, there was a deeper meaning. The underwater species enjoy the gifts as a nourishing snack.
An additional pumpkin carving dive will take place on Oct. 27.
