Passengers on an AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Phuket were probably hoping forSamuel L. Jackson to pop up when a live snake was found on an overhead cabin.

In a viral video, the tiny snake can be seen slithering above the overhead cabin as a crew member attempts to capture the snake inside an empty water bottle and then a garbage bag.

On TikTok, the video has gathered over 4.3 million views since it was posted.

In a statement to CNN, the airline said it was aware of the incident onboard Flight FD3015 that departed Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok on Jan. 13.

Phol Poompuang, head of corporate safety for the airline, stated the snake sighting was a "very rare incident" and that flight attendants are "well trained to handle" the situation.

It is unclear what type of snake it was and how it ended up inside the plane.

Last year, a South African pilot had to make an emergency landingafter discovering a highly venomous cobra hiding under his seat.

Rudolf Erasmus saidhe felt "something cold" slide across his lower back and when he glanced down, he sawthe head of a large Cape Cobra "receding back under the seat."
