Puppies and yoga? Yes, please

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - Here's a new meaning to downward dog: puppy yoga!

ROC and Soul Fitness in Webster hosted its first ever yoga class featuring puppies Sunday.

Seven pups roamed the room as people practiced their yoga poses.

"We've heard about the idea in different cities, we've seen puppies and yoga, and we haven't seen it here yet in Rochester," said Malena Guadagnino, the owner of ROC & Soul Fitness. "So we wanted to give it a try and bring in some cute puppies so that we could just have a light-hearted and fun event."

Sunday's event raised money and awareness for the Verona Street Animal Shelter.
