Lobsterman catches 3rd rare orange lobster in a week

PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) — A lobsterman working out of Portland, Maine caught his third rare orange lobster in a week on Thursday.

Harbor Fish Market says Captain Peter Pray, one of its suppliers, showed up with another orange lobster after catching two last Friday.

Pray caught the lobster using the same trap that he used to catch the first two.

The chances of finding an orange lobster are said to be 1 in 30 million, which is much harder than finding a blue lobster, which is 1 in 2 million, according to a professor at the University of New England.
