Police: Woman took over a dozen deodorants from pharmacy

CRANSTON, R.I., (WJAR) — The Cranston Police department says a woman took around 20 Dove deodorants from a CVS earlier this month.

While all that deodorant could provide a lot of coverage, it didn’t cover the surveillance cameras which captured the image of a woman police say is the culprit.

The incident happened on July 7th. The woman was observed putting the deodorants into her bag and leaving the store say police. The woman was then seen fleeing in a silver SUV which was waiting in the parking lot say authorities.

Police have released the image in the hopes someone recognizes her and could pass the information along.
