OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Utah police officers were able to bring a pair of endangered ducklings back to safety after they fell down a storm drain.
Officials of the department said that several of their Animal Service Officers took a call Friday morning before 8 a.m. regarding two baby ducks that were trapped in a storm drain.
After arriving and locating the ducklings, officers were able to pry open the storm drain and hoist them out with a net.
No injuries were reported.
"This is one of the more rewarding types of calls our Animal Service Officers get to handle," officials of the agency stated.
