Police: Man arrested after masturbating in emergency room of Oklahoma City hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — A man faces a complaint of indecent exposure after police say he was caught masturbating in the emergency room of a metro hospital.

Oklahoma City Police Department reports show that at approximately 4:30 a.m. Jan. 26 officers were called to St. Anthony Hospital for a disturbance in the cardiac emergency room waiting area.

Police arrived on scene and found 28-year-old Alex Cornelius Duru reportedly sitting in a chair naked and masturbating. On the table next to Duru was a bottle of lotion. Hospital officials say that several women from the cleaning crew discovered Duru and notified police.

Police reports show the man was in the hospital, so the officer got a hospital release before transporting the man to jail.

Duru allegedly continued to masturbate while the officer waited for backup. As the officers were beginning to take the man from the emergency room he asked if they could just handcuff him to a rail so he could "finish".

He was then transported to the Oklahoma County Jail. At the jail, police say Duru put his hands down his pants and began masturbating again. When told to stop he reportedly said "I have no weapons, I just want to touch my d***".
