Police: 'Batman,' 2 others arrested after drug bust in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - After an extensive narcotics investigation, the Myrtle Beach Police Department arrested three people on Friday, including a man who goes by the nickname "Batman," according to a news release from Lt. Joey Crosby.

During the investigation, officers got information that a person identified as “Batman” was selling heroin in the 1600 block of South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Officers got a search warrant for the location and executed it on Dec. 9.

They seized narcotics, cash, and firearms as evidence and arrested three people.

The following is a list of charges for those arrested, according to the news release:

• Gregory Canty (a.k.a. "Batman"), 36, of Hemingway: Distribution of heroin and crack cocaine, trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine, possession of schedule II, possession of stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, simple possession of marijuana and warrants out of Georgetown.
• Delicia Holmes, 22, of Myrtle Beach: Trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, possession of schedule II, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
• Auntea McCullough: No valid D.L. and possession of crack cocaine.

Multiple agencies assisted with the investigation, including the 15th Judicial Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, according to the release.
