LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WPEC) — Authorities rushed to one Florida Wendy's, but not for a cheeseburger.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about an alligator chasing people through the parking lot. Maybe it wanted a classic double with cheese, who knows?
The first deputies on scene found a 6-foot alligator in the parking lot.
Deputies, along with a crew from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, hauled the alligator to a more natural location.
No one was hurt.
