A woman on Ohio is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who finds her pet lemur, as the animal has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Amanda Beaver, of Delaware, has been posting about her pet, a 2-year-old red ruffed lemur named Iris.

Beaver said she thinks someone may have picked her up not far from their home.

She told WSYX numerous sources said they saw a person in a black SUV stop and lure the lemur inside the vehicle before driving off.

In recent social media posts, Beaver has indicated possible sightings as far away as Marysville in the Mill Valley subdivision and near Schwartzkopf Park.

Beaver said Iris is friendly and comes when she's called. Iris is also microchipped.

Below is the flier with Beaver's contact information for anyone who sees Iris.

Anyone who sees Iris is urged to call Beaver at 740-833-5618.
