ST. CHARLES COUNTY — An ostrich flew the coop last week for an unsupervised walk through his neighborhood in St. Charles County.
"There are no routine service calls in policing," the St. Charles County Police Department said in a Facebook post on Thursday. And last Friday was a perfect example of the peckuliar calls law enforcement officers recieve.
When“Clyde the Ostrich” left the nest for anunsupervised walk through his neighborhood, Sgt. Davis and D Platoon officers came to the rescue.
The police department said they were able to locate the tailented escape artist and return him safely home.
