Myrtle Beach named one of the best places to move to by U.S. News & World Report

Myrtle Beach, S.C. (WPDE) — The US News & World Report has named Myrtle Beach as the top destination in the country where people are choosing to move in 2018.

The ranking, based on net migration data from the U.S. Census Bureau, says Myrtle Beach "may be small, but its proving popular among people looking for a new place to live."

The report also says this area, like many in Florida, attracts retirees looking for year-round warm weather.

The Myrtle Beach metropolitan statistical area is consistently one of the two or three fastest-growing areas in the country.
