Residents in a central Florida city are going bananas over a wild monkey in the area.

On Wednesday, the Orange City Police Department said confused residents called referencing wild monkey sightings in the city.

The city provided an update identifying the monkey as a wild Rhesus Macaquesm, warning residents to not approach or feed the monkey.
