TUCSON, Ariz. (TND) — In an effort to demonstrate safety protocols, an Arizona transportation manager created a flaming "hot dog cooker," and it quite literally went up in flames.
"Cooking hotdogs Tucson style, with an Arizona microwave," the manager, Gary Kykman, wrote on Facebook along with a video of the cooker as it shot flames into the air.
Kykman explained that the cooker was made from parts of a discarded hot air balloon and was used during a safety meeting on fire extinguishers. He confirmed to The National Desk that "believe it or not, the fire extinguisher put out the flames."
Kykman said it was a meeting that won't be forgotten and added that there was an extra bonus because everyone got to eat a hot dog.
He said that he has also used the cooker for a New Year's party.
