Investigators in Central Florida say a man wanted to barbecue and kill child molesters.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office charged 50-year-old Jorge Porto-Sierra with four counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, burglary and criminal mischief.

Deputies arrested him in March after an incident the Friendly Village Inn in Kissimmee.

Witnesses told investigators the suspect rammed and poured gasoline on their cars in an attempt to light them on fire. One resident said Porto-Sierra broke a window and poured gasoline into one of the rooms at the inn, screaming that he wanted to kill all child molesters.

Porto-Sierra, according to the arrest report, told the responding deputy he wanted to "barbecue" all the child molesters, saying "they raped kids" and they deserved to die. He told investigators that deputies interrupted his plan by arriving too soon.

Authorities found a lighter in his pocket and a gas can at the scene.
