ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) - An Annapolis man found napping on his neighbor's couch was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary.
According to investigators, the resident heard someone at her apartment door on a Thursday evening. Police say the woman fled to a bedroom and called authorities when a man she didn't know walked in through the "apparently unlocked" door.
Police determined that the man lived in the building next door. Investigators say he appeared to be intoxicated and was found asleep on the woman's couch.
On Thursday police identified the man as 25-year-old Selvin Mancilla Xicara. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary and released after posting a $3,500 bond.
The incident was reported to police on April 14 at 6:40 p.m. in the area of Martha Court and Forest Drive.
