Man arrested for hitting brother in the face with painting

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — A man was arrested for hitting his brother in the face with a framed painting in their shared home.

The victim told Fort Walton Beach police officers that they were having an argument over dirty dishes when his brother, Larry Sloan, shoved him against the wall of the dining room.

The victim then shoved his brother back and Sloan responded by hitting him in the face with a framed painting.

The painting struck him just above his left eye, causing a small laceration, which bled profusely. Sloan then left the apartment.

The incident is being classified as battery.
