Lyft offers free rides to elderly, caregivers

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) - There have been plenty of inspiring stories of businesses stepping up to help the community during this COVID-19 crisis, and riding sharing services are no exception.

Ride-sharing service Lyft is making sure that the elderly population of the US is taken care of during this pandemic.

They've partnered with the National Council on Aging to offer free rides to the caregivers of elderly individuals. This is to ensure that these vulnerable citizens aren't cut off from the supplies they need.
