Krispy Kreme launches Dolly Parton-inspired doughnut collection

SAN ANTONIO - Get ready for a taste of the South with a sprinkle of Dolly Parton!

Krispy Kreme has partnered with the legendary singer to create the "Dolly Southern Sweets Doughnut Collection," a limited-edition lineup of four doughnuts inspired by Parton's favorite flavors.

These delightful treats are available for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme shops:

Dolly Dazzler Doughnut: An original glazed doughnut dipped in strawberry icing and adorned with glitter sprinkles and a chocolate Dolly butterfly piece.

Peachy Keen Cobbler Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with real peach filling, dipped in brown sugar icing and finished with a crunchy cobbler topping.

Banana Puddin' Pie: An unglazed doughnut filled with banana pudding and banana Kreme, dipped in yellow icing with white icing swirls and topped with a wafer cookie.

Chocolate Crème Pie: An original glazed doughnut topped with a swirl of chocolate brownie cream and vanilla whipped topping, sprinkled with chocolate cookie crumble.

Parton herself is excited about the collaboration. “Having some of my very favorite southern flavors in one, unique doughnut collection from Krispy Kreme is so special to me,” Parton said. “These doughnuts remind me of home. So, I’m excited for folks to share them with their own family and friends. They’re pretty sweet, if I do say so myself!”

To celebrate the launch, Krispy Kreme is hosting a special event on Saturday, May 18th. Visit your local shop "Dolly'd Up" – wearing anything Dolly-themed – and you'll receive a free Original Glazed doughnut. Don't have any Dolly gear? No problem! Just belt out your favorite Dolly Parton song and you'll still get your free doughnut.
