The House has voted to pass a stopgap funding bill just hours before a midnight deadline to avert a federal government shutdown.

'King Pin Granny' arrested in major drug deal bust in middle Tennessee, officers say

A woman nicknamed "King Pin Granny" by law enforcement has been arrested in a large drug deal bust in Decatur County.

Betty Jean Jordan, 75, is facing a slew of charges after a lengthy investigation into the illegal sale of prescription drugs.

The Decatur County Sheriff's Office said Jordan was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at her Parsons, Tenn. home. As a result of the search, investigators said they confiscated more than 1,000 prescription pills, including Morphine, Oxycodone and Xanex. Investigators also seized more than $12,000 in cash and assets.

Jordan was charged with three counts of drug manufacturing/delivery/sale/possession of schedule II, two counts of possession of a legend drug with intent, possession of a legend drug and evading arrest.

Jordan was booked in Decatur County Jail on Feb. 9 and has since been released on a $50,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
