A bystander says he spotted former Vice President Joe Biden taking the time to speak with a homeless man outside the Georgetown movie theater on K Street on Thursday evening.

The Politico Playback reports Biden had taken his granddaughter to the AMC while she was in the area visiting some friends.

The user who posted the photo, Paul Equale, wrote on his Facebook page: "Joe Biden took his granddaughter to the movies in Georgetown last night.....on his way out he stopped to speak w/ a homeless man. A bystander took this candid shot. Character is about what you do when no one is watching."

All of this attention comes as the former Vice President is considering a run against Donald Trump in 2020.

Many users on social media have reacted to the picture which has been shared over 124,000 times. D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser complimented Biden for his kindness while a conservative website known as The Reagan Battalion praised Biden for being humble.
