The Iowa Wave shirt is back for 2018 in a new color, and with a new goal.

The families behind the Iowa Wave shirt wanted to celebrate the first anniversary of the Kinnick Wave with a shirt to match the home opener's annual Be Bold and Wear Gold gold-out game.

Last year, more than 22,000 shirts were sold, and $440,754 was donated to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. This year, their goal is to raise $1 million. 100 percent of the proceeds are donated to the hospital.

The cause is personal for the creators of the shirt—two of the four families behind the shirts have children who have been treated at the children's hospital.

If you're a Cyclone or Panther fan and want to contribute, they sell shirts in those school colors as well.

The shirts start at $18 and are available online.

Iowa's first game is September 1 in Kinnick Stadium against Northern Illinois.
