ATHENS, Ga. (WPEC) -- One Georgia hospital is seeing double after identical twin nurses delivered identical baby girls.
According to Inside Edition, identical twin sisters Tara Drinkard and Toni Howard work at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Georgia. Howard works as a nurse in the NICU and Drinkard is a labor and delivery nurse.
However, the 26-year-old sisters have never delivered twins together despite having been nurses for five years, Inside Edition reported. The nurses were also born atthe hospital where they work.
The twin nurses helped deliverAddison and Emma at 32 weeks via cesarean section, Inside Edition reports. The baby girls weighed in at 4 pounds, 4 ounces and 4 pounds, 9 ounces and scheduled to be released from the NICU on Thursday.
