LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The annual Las Vegas Housekeeping Olympics returned to town on Wednesday to recognize those working in the hospitality industry.
The competition, held at Mandalay Bay, pitted teams of guest room attendants and housekeeping and environmental services, representing resorts from around Las Vegas.

Categories included bed-making competitions, a toilet paper toss and a confetti vacuum race.
The team from The Venetian came out on top, followed by the teams from The Mirage and Circus Circus.
Mandalay Bay President Chuck Bowling said the event is one small way to thank and celebrate hard-working people.
