WASHINGTON (TND) — You're not seeing double, but it could be a world record. Among the graduating seniors at one north Texas high school, there are 35 pairs of twins and a set of triplets.

Dozens of seniors at Mansfield High School gathered on their football field to document the unique moment. Donning their caps and gowns, the students — along with their parents — captured the memory in photos.

Beyond high school, some twins said they are going to go separate ways — but some are sticking side-by-side.

Angela and Anthony Morka are fraternal twins."It's great being a twin. We don't necessarily look alike but that bond is still there just as much as any of the twins here," Angela said.

They're choosing to go to different schools for their educations. Angela is heading to Yale University as Anthony moves further south to the University of Houston.

"It will definitely be a change because we're not going to be together like we've always been," Anthony said. "But we can always still call each other, text each other and that we're still there for each other."

Identical twin sisters Avery and Keaton Slimak want to stay together. The pair will be attending the University of Texas in the fall and plan on being roommates.

"We're pretty much best friends," Avery said. "We do everything together and we get along really well, so we're excited to stay together."

The sisters admit being identical twins comes with its own set of challenges — but also its own set of mischief.

"It's fun to pull pranks on people, too," Keaton said. "We've switched classes plenty of times."

The high school has roughly 2,600 students. Twins occur in about one in every 250 births. For a student body that size, KTVT did the math and found that 10 or 11 pairs of twins would be average for the school. Instead, there are three times as many in this one school.

While the transition from high school to whatever comes next can be a bittersweet moment, these students have made the Class of 2022 twice as easy to remember.
