MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Not many students can imagine applying to over 100 colleges and universities, much less being accepted to practically all of them!

“I’ve been accepted to Auburn University, Southern University, Alabama State, A&M, just all over the place,” says Fredria Jones, a senior at Blount High School in Prichard, Alabama.

The farthest coming from Wisconsin and the letters are still coming in!

“I got an acceptance the other day from Clark Atlanta. So, they might still be rolling in!”

Jones can now choose from 96 institutions of higher education—an amazing feat, but it was a feat kept under wraps until recently.

“To be honest, I kind of kept it a secret until this month because I was trying to lay low and make sure I got to where I wanted to be.”

With a 3.88 unweighted GPA, many schools waived their application fee. And she’s on par to save even more – being offered around $1.3 million in scholarships from over 60 of those colleges. These scholarships include some for academics and some for music. She’s in the marching band, symphonic band and jazz ensemble. However, she plans to major in biology, then go to medical school to be an anesthesiologist.

Jones already knows where she is going to school, but her friends and family are on pins and needles—they’ll have to wait and find out at her reveal party this Saturday.

She’s overwhelmed by the love and support from her family, who she credits with giving her this drive and ambition.

“I don’t like the word 'no.' No means nothing to me cause anything is possible, anything can be done. There’s no telling where you can go. And, you know, you just have to trust in your heavenly Father,” says Jones.
