ORLEANS, Calif. — An elderly man was arrested in Orleans Saturday after a traffic stop by Humboldt County sheriff's deputies revealed narcotics paraphernalia and 20 bags containing methamphetamine, according to the sherrif's office (HCSO).
At around 1:30 p.m. on March 3, HCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop on a car being driven by 82-year-old Robert Wolfe near Big Rock Road in Orleans. The sheriff's office reported that as deputies made contact with Wolfe, they found narcotics paraphernalia in his vehicle. A further search of the vehicle turned up 20 individually pre-packaged baggies containing Methamphetamine, the HCSO said.
Wolfe was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where officials said he was booked for possession of a controlled substance for sales, transportation of a controlled substance for sales and finally for violation of probation. His bail was set at $50,000.
