SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. (TND) — Some teens in trouble weren't washing a deputy's SUV early in the morning just to be kind. They were spraying cold water to get out of hot water.
As the Walton County Sheriff's Office in Florida put it: “These suds have a story.”
Seems a half-dozen boys drove around with two dozen eggs, using them “as projectiles to decorate houses and cars.”
That was a few weeks ago, and Sunday morning, they and their parents got up early and used their hands to wash “the victims’ cars, patrol cars, fire trucks and any other vehicle that happened to stop by — for free.”
The community service convinced the cops not to file criminal charges.
