SEATTLE (TND) — A woman who posted about a public event calling for "gays" to meet atSeattle's Meridian Park has been "loved" more than 1.1 million times on TikTok.
The event called "Gays Eating Garlic Bread in the Park" reportedly had a successful turnout.
TikTok user "fendihendrixx" posted a video on Sunday showing a flyer for the rainbow event.
"The only thing that is keeping me going is knowing that in a few days I'll be able to eat garlic bread in the park with the gays," said the woman in the video.
It appeared the gathering would bring food and comfort to attendees and to the woman who posted the video.
Her video was captioned "all the motivation i need fr."
The woman's post went viral on TikTok, receiving more than 4 million views.
Users commented, "BYOGB iscrazyyyyyy," which means bring your own garlic bread.
Another TikTok user made a joke of the smell of garlic, commenting "Bring gum and mints to make friends."
Users living in other cities highlighted how typical the event was for Seattle.
"This is so Seattle," responded Neque.
In a follow up post by"fendihendrixx," she showed off her "party pack." It consisted of a pack of gum, a box of garlic toast and tequila before apparently making her way to the park.
"I'll see you all there," said"fendihendrixx."
According to seattlerefined.com, Monday's event brought together a "diverse crowd" and was described as having "awesome vibes."
We obviously had to check it out and this event did not disappoint. I was promptly greeted by a friendly face and offered garlic bread upon arrival (the homemade spread was delicious)!
