Florida man says he received dirty underwear in Uber eats delivery

BAL HARBOUR, Fla. (CBS12) - A man in South Florida had quite a surprise in his dinner order.

On Sunday night, Leo had Japanese food delivered to him via Uber Eats. He was in town for Art Basel.

After picking it up from the delivery driver, Leo opened the bag in his hotel room and found a pair of dirty thigh-length underwear.

"Disgusting, unhealthful, it's potentially deadly," Leo said. Leo called the police, Uber, and the restaurant.

Uber told CNN affiliate WPLG it is investigating the matter and removed the courier from the app.
