A Florida man is going to start the New Year with life-changing news.

The Florida Lottery announced on Monday that Hendry County resident, Agustin Garcia Guerrero, 58, claimed a $5 million top prize from the popular $5,000,000 CA$H MONEY Scratch-Off game.

Lottery officials said that the winning ticket was bought at the Sunshine on 17100 Tamiami Trail E. in Naples. With a 1-in-2.93 chance of winning a prize, Garcia Guerrero turned $20 into $5 million.

Garcia Guerrero opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,053,000, according to the news release.

Since its beginning, the Florida Lottery said its scratch-off games have awarded more than $66.9 billion in prizes, created 2,350 millionaires, and contributed over $20.09 billion to the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
