PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida man in a Dalmatian onesie escaped Florida Highway troopers in Pasco County with one hand cuffed after a traffic stop, before they caught up with him the following day.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) say they attempted to pull over a reckless driver, later identified as Dylan Keith Devereaux, just after midnight on January 27.
The vehicle took off at a high rate of speed, stopping once to drop off a passenger before speeding off again, according to FHP.

The vehicle eventually crashed into a tree with Devereaux bailing from the car, before troopers tased him to the ground, per the criminal probable cause affidavit.
Troopers say that Devereaux began fighting the trooper in the road, pushing and struggling with him on the ground and attempting to flee.
The suspect got away with one hand cuffed and sprinted towards his residence on Girard Road. The trooper observed him run into the forest and waited for backup.
When backup arrived, a K9 was deployed and the dog led law enforcement to the home, where they met his girlfriend. The troopers said she told them she did not want anyone in the home including her boyfriend because there are drugs in the home, and she doesn't want to go to jail.
An arrest warrant was filed and police returned to the home the next morning detaining Devereaux and booking him for reckless driving, fleeing, assault of law enforcement, resisting with violence, and possession of Methamphetamine among other charges.
