WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (CBS12) — A driver was punched in the face after he complimented another driver's car, says the Polk County Sheriff's Office (PCSO).
According to the PCSO, at around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, the driver was heading west on Tindel Camp Road approaching the scenic highway in the Dundee/Lake Wells area. Traveling in front of the driver, was John Sturgeon who suddenly stopped his vehicle, approached the driver, and allegedly punched him in his face.
Deputies asked the victim what might've provoked the attack, to which the victim said he waved his hand and told Sturgeon, 53, he had a nice car.
