MACON, Ga. -- A Macon woman was arrested for criminal trespass on Friday after calling another woman's wig "ugly", grabbing it off her head and then burning it.

A Bibb County Sheriff's Office incident report says the victim was sitting with 26-year-old Brittany Lashae Huff at a home located in the 3000 block of Columbus Rd.

The victim reported that Huff called her wig "ugly" before taking it off her head and burning it with a lighter.

Huff told the deputy that a man who was with them assaulted the woman who's wig was burned and then left the house. Huff denied grabbing the wig off the victim's head and then burning it.

While talking to Huff, the deputy noticed what appeared to be a burned hair piece on the ground. Once again, Huff reportedly denied any involvement with the wig and repeated that a man who'd been at the house beat up the victim and then left.

During his interview with Huff, the victim told the deputy that a man who had witnessed the fight was on his way over.

The man reportedly said he'd been there when it happened and that he saw Huff take the wig from the victim's head, but didn't see her burning it.

Huff confirmed that the man had been there. Based on everyone's statements, the deputy believed that a crime had taken place.

Huff was put in handcuffs and taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, while the burned wig was turned over to the Crime Lab, the report says.
